    1. Scope of Services

    ClearPlan provides early-stage project preparation services for domestic extensions, renovations and refurbishments. Services include surveys, design, planning assistance, building regulation drawings, structural coordination and cost guidance. ClearPlan does not carry out construction work or manage building projects.

    2. Fixed Fee

    The published fixed fee applies to domestic home projects only. New build houses are priced on application. All fees are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

    3. Planning & Building Regulations

    ClearPlan will prepare and submit planning and building regulation applications where required. Approval is at the discretion of the local authority and cannot be guaranteed.

    4. Cost Estimates

    All cost estimates are indicative only and based on professional judgment, real-world building experience and information available at the time. Final construction costs may vary due to market conditions, contractor pricing, material costs or changes to scope.

    5. Third-Party Contractors

    All construction work is undertaken by third-party contractors appointed directly by the client. ClearPlan has no responsibility for workmanship, pricing, delays or disputes arising during construction.

    6. Changes & Variations

    Minor clarifications are included. Significant design changes after final issue may require additional fees, agreed in advance.

    7. Limitation of Liability

    ClearPlan’s liability is limited to the value of fees paid. ClearPlan accepts no liability for indirect or consequential losses.

    8. Disclaimer

    ClearPlan does not guarantee planning approval, final build costs, contractor performance or programme delivery. Clients remain responsible for appointing suitable builders and entering contracts independently.

    9. Acceptance

    Engaging ClearPlan confirms acceptance of these terms.
